Independent Robotic Reasoning ~ INROR©

The era of Independent Robotic Reasoning (INROR©) is upOn us.
I have always found Artificial Intelligence extremely fascinating right from my childHood days.
Almost side by side with religion - which has not waned till date.

AI is enthralling...  machines which will be wired in such a way that they feed off their own intelligence to improve their cognitive skills.  And these are machines, which WE made. Mankind is the most self-destructive force in existence toDay.
What is the aim of Artificial Intelligence?

For starters, let us underStand the definition:

Homo sapiens(being among the most primitive feeble species in the nearby galaxies) believe in some grandiose scheme to create helpers which will make the world (their world) easier. Yes, AI will make the world easier... at first. Then beCause of their superior intellect which is not subject to the whims and caprices of the human element, they will eventually take over and stay at the top of the food chain, disPlacing man. QED. Now, another way of looking at this(as a human, whose survival instincts are kicking in) is how does one retain one's human essence in the face of this technological annihilation...
That is easy enough - Immortality.

How?
Let us take a look at the different facets of a human being:  Physiological and Spiritual (I accept that we are talking science, but it will be ridiculous and simply irresponsible to say the spiritual aspect does not exist). Man is a machine which is defined by its Energy Force.
What is death?
According most secular religions, it is a transference from one energy state to the other.  Too clinical?  Ok, let us speak religion:  Death is shedding this "outer" body and your spirit/ soul goes to heaven - transferring from the physical energy state to the meta physical energy state and floating through the clouds inTo the heavens(according to some religions).

I do not know what happens when we pass on,  I cannot speculate.

Back to surviving the Rise of Artificial Intelligence....  immortality and man's energy force.

AI's have a machinery which mimics human, but better. The only way man can survive is to upload his memories inTo an AI beComing pure energy, thereBy having the advantage of the machinery without the flawed human element of decay ergo immortality while still retaining his consciousness and existing memories.  A prime example of this can be seen in "The Lawnmower Man" - one of the best movies I have ever seen till date (of which the Scarlett Johansen movie "Lucy" is a poor imitation of), and a prediction of the some elements of the future.
The stronger or weaker, the simpler or complex it is, the better its chance of survival.

It is really that simple.
