The Technundrum.

Technology is the best and the worst thing that has happened to manKind.
Some love it, some hate it. All depend on it. She is a drug and we are all her slave junkies hooked on a paraphernalia of gadgets and airWaves - our existence lacklustre and unThinkable without the rush of access and buttons and information.

The more the advancements in technology, the smaller the world gets.
The smaller the world gets, the more the physically disConnected and distant her
inhabitants beCome. The more the physically disConnected and distant her inhabitants beCome...
the closer they get.
The day I used my smartphone to turn off my TV, Bluray and airConditioner was the day I knew that all of the tech addicts that be, I was the lost cause - irrevocably hooked, down the abyss, the chute, no turning back.  I wept tears of joy and relief while simultaneously grinning that for the first time I am now truly one with my apartment. We have fused inTo one functional android entity.  My (even more) smart apartment and I have beCome... Voltron.

Form feet and legs. Form arms and body. And I'll form, the head!
When I hear some people say they take a look "tech break", I wonder - do they really..?
Is she not always on your mind like the she-boy you had a perverted tryst with
in that land called far far away?

Do not delude yourSelf, she(technology) owns you. You are her biyach.

Fully functional AI facilities are already here. Our smartphones studying us and underStanding our wants and needs. One can have actual conversations with Siri; how's your day going, Siri? and get actual (sometimes really hilarious) responses.
There is sooo much to technology, we have barely scratched the surface. Our cars parking withOut us. Self driving cars, now humans just sit along for the ride, flying cars. Worried about AI taking over someDay though... but that is not going to stop me looking forWard to the day when (a)one can have an actual 3D hologram conversation with a contact from a portable smartphone(wonder if they will still be called smart phones then),  (b)when flying cars will be accessible to the above average members of the public and (c)teleportation will beCome an everyDay means of transportation(perhaps to the point of traffic jams and delays).  Wish I could live for one hundred more years just to see how technology will evolve. Hmm, mayBe at that that time one might be able to upLoad ones consciousness unTo a server till such a time when it can be transported inTo a functional android vessel.

Fingers crossed...

Technology has certainly created accessibility, but the thing is - has it created intimacy? Then again, what is intimacy? I refer to intimacy in the human relations sense. Humans are social creatures, and touch is(was) a core(?) part of our interaction. The question to ask though is is it, really? I think humans are evolving inTo android creatures where we speak in emojis + emoticons, listen through texts and touch through our screens.

Humans are now more open and share more.
Do they, really? The world is getting more open as it is getting distant. Is it though? The world is obviously evolving... ice age, stone age, now we are in the digital age. I mean, let's face it - we are in a world where actual physical keys are beComing obsolete.
The end of physical keyBoards?

To be continued...
